I just bought a 40 year old townhouse. My primary bathroom had a row of 8 naked bulbs over the sink that were blinding. The 50 inch shade softened the light and dressed up the entire bathroom. So easy to install and such an improvement.

So glad we found this product. It made a huge difference in the look of our bathroom for a very reasonable price. And installation literally took less than 3 minutes, including unboxing. We bought one to try and then bought 3 more to upgrade all our bathrooms until we can remodel them.
We put the units together as a team so nothing would fall into the bathroom sink. When we placed them in the fixture - it was night and day of the old look. We did get brighter bulbs that were frosted to give off more light. The white shade pops against the wrought iron. They are light in weight and were easy to move around. We placed them a bit lower to truly cover the fixture.
I wish I knew about these when I renovated my last 2 bathrooms! I had those ugly mirrored lights in all of them and changed them out to a new light. These were so easy to use it was crazy! Literally, it took me longer to open the box then to put up these light covers and they made all the difference! I have an 8-light fixture that needed updating and when I felt it was a bit pricey, they recommended using 2- 25" covers instead. This not only reduced the price but it made them even easier to install than 1 large one. If you are thinking about using these, if you have a metal light frame they are easy-peezy!!!!
Big improvement to my Hollywood lights! It's a light shade that was a breeze to install in about 5 minutes.
I was absolutely amazed as to how easy this shade attached to the old wornout mirrored light fixture. Not only that, but it looks great. I ended up using 2 -25" shades to cover my 8 light fixture and it really cut down on the cost but it still looks good. I wish I knew about this option sooner!
I put up with bare bulbs in the bathroom for way too long. The jute shade is a big transformation. Wife loves it too.
Found out my light fixture is not metal. The strips, super glue, and extra magnet hooks aren’t working. Out of ideas to make it work!
The other one has worked perfectly and looks very nice!!
The four bulb wrap only provides 2 holder, needs and extra one in the middle other wise it has a slop in the middle making it look awkward.
I hated my globe lights in our powder room, but did not want to remove the fixture because of wallpaper. This is a good solution. VERY easy installation (5 minutes!)
Just a few quick comments.
1.Because of the light fixture placement close to the mirror, I could not put the Light Wrap down as low as I would have liked. I can barely see the globe lights under the wrap, but I am short!
2. If you need bright lighting, know that this wrap significantly dims the light. Great for a powder room, but not for a bathroom where you are plucking eyebrows! Hope this helps!
I really had to work hard to make this shade fit with my bathroom mirror setup. I didn't give up and am now satisfied with how it came out. But you need to think carefully about your mirror. Mine does not have anything magnetic that the lightwrap holders, which are magnetic, can stick too. I also have a cabinet door that opens right under the lights and there wasn't enough clearance for the door to open. Pushing the shade up to clear the doors would hit the lights and I was afraid the shade would burn. I had to buy two more sets of 4 lights. First, smaller round ones, then flat dimmable LED's. I also tried 2 sided STRONG tape and three matching magnets for each wrap holder to stick to - which didn't work - it came off with the tape and slid down with the magnets. Finally I crazy glued 2 strong oblong magnets on my mirror with the flat lights and was able to position the wrap in such a way that it cleared the opening door and didn't hit the lights. In sum, all of the alternatives I had to buy cost more than the shade itself and I had to try numerous ways to make it work. But ultimately it did work and I am basically happy with the result.
If you have old hollywood style lights, these are a must!! Minutes to put together for a whole new look. Great customer service too!
